Cemetery
Bacton Parish Cemetery is located in the centre of the village off Church Road opposite the Village Hall (IP14 4LW) and to the rear of St Marys Parish Church (IP14 4LJ).
The Cemetery provides for traditional burials and has graves dating from 1934 onwards and contains Commonwealth War Graves.
The Cemetery is open for burials and interments.

Cemetery Regulations and Conditions
The death of a loved one is a distressing experience. The purpose of the Cemetery Regulations and Conditions is to provide guidance and support families with both the initial and the long term care of their loved one’s grave space in the Lawn Cemetery. It ensures visitors and those who maintain the Lawn Cemetery are kept safe. Printed copies of the Policy are available from the Parish Clerk or to download here.
Arranging a Funeral
Details of how to arrange a funeral will be provided by the Registrar when registering the death of a loved one. The Funeral Director will complete the Notice of Interment application form on your behalf and submit it to the Parish Council for approval.
Please note that it is a legal requirement that no burial, interment of ashes or scattering of ashes may take place within the Cemetery without the permission of the Parish Council.
Memorials
If you wish to erect or alter a memorial an application for approval must be made using the memorial application form.
